A baby was born to Rebecca and Henry Standing Elk of Arapahoe at 8:31 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at SageWest Health Care Lander. The baby weighed 8 pounds 1 ounce.

A son was born to Shianna Littleshield and Josh Miller of Riverton at 5:44 a.m. Monday, April 27, at SageWest Health Care Lander. He weighed 9 pounds 8 ounces.

Deaths

STURGEON

Delight Ann (Nickerson) Sturgeon, 82, of Lander, died Thursday, April 30, 2020, at Westward Heights Care Center in Lander. Cremation has taken place, and no funeral services will be held, at her request.

DAVIS

Elmore Leon Davis, 86, died May 3, 2020 at his home in Lander, with his loving wife, Dee at his side.

GARCIA

Kelsey Erin Garcia, 36, a former resident of Lander, died April 30, 2020, in Miles City, Montana. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, memorial services will be held at a later date.

MORRIS

David Morris, 67, of Dubois, died Sunday, May 3, 2020, at his home.

MOSS

Benjamin Moss, 64, formerly of Lander, died in Tucson, Arizona, on Sunday, May 3, 2020.

In Fremont County Sheriff's Office weekend reports through Tuesday morning:

The Red Cross of Wyoming is assisting a family of four displaced by a house fire Thursday, April 30, on Givens Road between Arapaho and Ethete. Fremont County

Sheriff's Office reports indicate the Fort Washakie Fire Department, the Dubois Fire District, the Fremont County Fire Protection District and an ambulance crew responded to a structure fire at about 7:55 p.m. that day at 18 Givens Road.

A traffic hazard was reported at about 8:30 a.m. Friday on East Pavillion Road near Pavillion. The reporting party said there was a cow in the road.

Trespassing was reported at about 11:45 a.m. Friday on Warm Springs Drive near Dubois. The reporting party "wants a subject to leave the store," according to the initial report.

Fraud was reported at about 3:45 p.m. Friday on East Webbwood Road near Riverton. The initial report was regarding fraudulent photographs.

Jessicca Gordon, 31, of Riverton, was arrested at about 6:45 p.m. Friday on Dalley Road near Riverton for domestic battery. The reporting party said his "wife came home, dragged him out of his truck and hit him."

No injuries were recorded in a traffic incident reported at about 12:15 a.m. Saturday in the 3000 block of Cooper Road near Riverton. The initial report indicates a vehicle "ran through a fence."

"Harassing messages" were reported at about 12:25 p.m. Saturday on Bluebell Lane near Riverton.

Vandalism was reported at about 2:20 p.m. Saturday on Calvert Lane near Lander. The initial report indicates "someone shot a small garage;" the reporting party "found the casing inside the building."

A traffic hazard was reported at about 7:30 a.m. Sunday on Eight Mile Road near Riverton. The initial report was regarding a black cow.

Injuries were recorded in a one-vehicle rollover reported at about 11 a.m. Sunday in the 11300 block of U.S. Highway 26 near Kinnear. Officials said they assisted the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

A trailer was reported stolen at about 7:25 p.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of East Monroe Avenue near Riverton.

Russell Sitton, 39, of Riverton, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, and on a Fremont County warrant for failure to appear.

Trespassing was reported at about 8 a.m. Monday on Red Canyon Road near Lander. The initial report was regarding a subject on an all-terrain vehicle "on the Red Canyon face."

No injuries were recorded in a traffic incident reported at about 12:10 p.m. Monday in the 1600 block of North Eighth Street West near Riverton. The initial report indicates the incident involved a white Ford pickup and a gray Tundra.

Vandalism was reported at about 1 p.m. Monday on North Fork Road near Lander.

Debra Snapp, 36, of Riverton, was arrested at about 3:30 p.m. Monday near Arapahoe on a Fremont County warrant for conspiracy to commit obtaining property by false pretenses - aggregate.

Vandalism was reported at about 7:30 p.m. Monday on West First Street in Shoshoni. The reporting party said "someone shot out windows."

Theft was reported at about 7:40 p.m. Monday on Arapahoe Drive near Riverton. The initial report indicates a male subject came to the reporting party's house, took money, "slashed the coolant (hose) on (the) truck and replaced the battery with a smaller one."
