Robert J. (Bob) Gilliland, 88, died April 1, 2020, at his home in Riverton. As per his request, his family will spread his ashes this summer at a special location in the mountains of Dubois.

In Riverton Police Department reports Tuesday to early Wednesday:

A gun was reported stolen at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday from a camper parked in front of a residence in the 400 block of Oak Lane.

Tools were reported stolen at about 12:10 a.m. Wednesday from a shop in the 2200 block of Broadacres Drive.

In Riverton Police Department reports Thursday through Monday:

A 44-year-old Riverton man was cited at about 1:05 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of North Federal Boulevard for public intoxication. The initial report was regarding a male subject "passed out" and "having a hard time getting back up."

Sorrell Williams, 19, of Riverton, was arrested at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the 800 block of North Federal Boulevard for driving while under the influence. The reporting party said "he was parked and the other driver is pulled up to his vehicle and tried to fight him with boxing gloves on."

Theft from a building was reported at about 9:45 p.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of North Federal Boulevard. The initial report indicates a female subject stole a phone and cash and left the scene in a vehicle.

Ronda Behan, 30, of Riverton, was arrested at about 9:45 p.m. Thursday on Sioux Avenue for public intoxication. The initial report was regarding an intoxicated subject at a residence "arguing" with the reporting party.

Harassment was reported at about 11:05 p.m. Thursday in the 1700 block of North Federal Boulevard. The initial report was regarding a male subject who "confronted" the reporting party and four others in a vehicle, "circling their car" and parking next to them "smirking and waving."

Police assisted the Fremont County Sheriff's Office in responding at about 1:25 a.m. Friday to a report of a fight in the Riverton area.

Vandalism was reported at about 9:40 a.m. Friday in the 900 block of East Sunset Drive. The initial report was regarding a silver Chrysler 200 with two flat tires.

Martin Goggles, 27, of Ethete, was arrested at about 12:20 p.m. Friday on West Bend Drive for public intoxication and resisting arrest. The initial report was regarding a male subject "lying in the middle of the street."

No injuries were recorded in a traffic incident reported at about 2:05 p.m. Friday in the 1800 block of North Federal Boulevard. The initial report indicates the incident involved a white Impala and a tan Ford pickup.

Property destruction was reported at about 3 p.m. Friday in the 1700 block of North Federal Boulevard. Officials said a cart was pushed into a vehicle, causing damage.

A subject was "escorted into his residence" after police responded at about 6:40 p.m. Friday to a report of intoxication in the 3000 block of College Hill Drive. The initial report was regarding an intoxicated subject who "will not leave."

Criminal entry was reported at about 8:45 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of South First Street. The initial report was regarding an intoxicated female subject "who just came in the residence."

Trespassing was reported at about 9:45 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of East Pershing Avenue. The initial report was regarding four male subjects "sitting on the rock in front of the house." The reporting party said "these people are not supposed to be on the property and have been told in the past."

Theft from a building was reported at about 9:55 a.m. Saturday in the Riverton area. The initial report was regarding a stolen check book and identification.

A traffic offense was reported at about 1 p.m. Saturday in the 3900 block of Tam-O-Shanter Drive. The initial report was regarding two people driving dirt bikes "up and down the streets in the neighborhood... erratically."

A noise complaint came in at about 9:45 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of North Broadway. The initial report was regarding a resident "a couple houses down the street ... having a party for the last hour or so" with "speakers playing very loud music." Officials said the subject was contacted and advised to keep the noise down.

Emmaline Yellowfox, 30, of Riverton, was arrested at about 11:50 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of East Main Street for public intoxication. The initial report was regarding an intoxicated female subject who "attacked" a male subject.

Ariel C'Bearing, 18, of Riverton, was arrested at about 3:50 a.m. Sunday in the 600 block of Eagle Drive for minor under the influence of alcohol. The initial report was regarding an intoxicated subject "ringing (the) doorbell and knocking hard." The reporting party said the subject also threw something at a window.

Harassment was reported at about 11 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Spire Drive. The initial report was regarding a subject who had been trespassed from an apartment complex.

No injuries were recorded in a traffic incident reported at about 2:15 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of West Park Avenue. The initial report indicates the incident involved a dark gray Buick Encore and a parked bronze Cadillac.

A 21-year-old Riverton woman was cited at about 3:20 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of North Fifth Street East for leaving the scene of an accident and interference. The initial report indicates an "older" brown Chrysler van struck a parked black 2019 Chevy Blazer and left the scene.

A 16-year-old Riverton boy was cited at about 4:50 p.m. Monday in the 1700 block of North Federal Boulevard for larceny. The initial report was regarding shoplifting.

Harassment was reported at about 6 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of East Jefferson Avenue. The initial report was regarding harassment of a juvenile child via "school email."

Theft from a building was reported at about 8 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of Sycamore Drive. The initial report was regarding a female subject who "was supposed to come clean the house." Instead, the reporting party said the subject "came in and took the money and left."

A boy was arrested at about 8:15 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of North Federal Boulevard for possession of a controlled substance and youthful offender. A girl was cited for minor under the influence of alcohol. The initial report was regarding a potentially drunken driver in a white Ford.

In Fremont County Sheriff's Office reports Monday and Tuesday:

An animal problem was reported at about 8 p.m. Monday in the 1800 block of Hillcrest Drive. The initial report indicates one dog attacked another.

In Fremont County Sheriff's Office reports Thursday through Monday:

Car theft was reported at about 7:25 p.m. Thursday on East Monroe Avenue near Riverton.

Deputies responded at about 3:40 a.m. Friday to a report of a black cow on the road in the 800 block of Lyons Valley Road near Lander.

A trash can was reported stolen at about7 a.m. Friday on Gardens North Drive near Riverton.

An animal problem was reported at about 1:15 p.m. Friday on Gabes Road near Kinnear. The initial report was regarding a dog harassing horses. Officials said the owner was contacted.

Randi Duran, 34, of Ethete, was arrested at about 3:10 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Railroad Street in Lander on a Fremont County warrant for contempt of court.

No injuries were recorded in a traffic incident reported at about 8:30 p.m. Friday int eh 500 block of Lyons Valley Road near Riverton. The initial report indicates a "male subject ran out to the middle of the road waving his hands" at the reporting party. Officials said a "single vehicle went off the road," sustaining "minor damage."

No injuries were recorded in a traffic incident reported at about 10:30 p.m. Friday in the 6000 block of U.S. Highway 26 near Dubois. The initial report indicates the incident involved a vehicle and a mountain lion. Officials said there was minor damage to the vehicle, but the mountain lion died.

Deputies responded at about 1:05 a.m. Saturday to a report of a black cow in the 2500 block of Mortimore Lane near Lander.

Deputies responded at about 11:30 a.m. Saturday to a report of two horses "out" on Rosewood Avenue near Lander.

Threatening was reported at about 11:40 a.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of Missouri Valley Road near Pavillion. The initial report was regarding online threats.

Injuries were recorded in a traffic incident reported at about 1:45 p.m. Saturday. Officials said the Wyoming Highway Patrol responded.

Harassment was reported at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Marlatt Road in Shoshoni. The initial report was regarding a neighbor harassing the reporting party.
