Apr 14, 2013 - StaffLorence "Buck" Lenard Jr., of Lander, died Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Morning Star Manor in Fort Washakie. He was 53 years old.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 2, at Davis Funeral Home in Riverton. According to his wishes, cremation will take place.
Lorence Clinton Lenard Jr. was born July 6, 1960, in Canon City, Colo., the son of Lorence Clinton Sr. and Patricia Lee (Foster) Lenard. He grew up living and attending schools in various Colorado communities and spent a lot of time in Florence, Colo., and Canon City, Colo. He attended Central Wyoming College in Riverton.
He was employed with Dry Creek Oil Field Services and also worked numerous other jobs.
He married Jamie M. Trosper on Sept. 9, 2011, in Thermopolis.
He was of the Christian faith.
His family said he enjoyed working on his computer, camping, and taking walks in the mountains with his wife and two dogs, Tia and Princess. He was also fond of taking drives, watching sunsets, spending time with his children and collecting knives.
He is survived by his wife, Jamie, of Lander; sons CJ Taylor, Ronald Goggles and Skyy Iron Eyes; daughters Brynn Taylor, Nyssa Lenard, Alysia Lenard and Shaina Goggles; four grandchildren; sisters Becky Soule and Carla Tarbet; and special friends Richard Mills and Tom Watkins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Nathan Lenard; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Memorials may be made to the Set Free Church in care of Davis Funeral Home, 2203 W. Main St., Riverton, WY 82501.
