Apr 14, 2013 - StaffThe Robert A. Peck Arts Center Theater was under construction in April 1982, but it wasn't ready to host the Central Wyoming College spring musical. That wouldn't happen until the following year.
So, the 1982 cast and crew readied its production of "Gypsy" for the CWC Activities Center Theater, now known as the Little Theater.
Director Robin Cole was in charge of the show, based on the life of legendary stripper Gypsy Rose Lee. Robert Hussa was the musical director of a cast featuring a mix of students from the CWC theater department, Riverton High School and the community at large.
Thirty-one years later, Hussa still has a leadership role in CWC theater. He's the musical director for "Hair," which has a matinee this afternoon and three more performances later in the week.
