Apr 12, 2013 - StaffDanielle "DeeDee" Harriette Hood, of Shoshoni, died Sunday, March 31, 2013, at her home. She was 49 years old.
Cremation has taken place, and no services are planned.
Danielle Harriette Hood was born Oct. 9, 1963, in Racine, Wis., the daughter of Harold Douglas and Harriette Mae (White) Hobbie Sr.
She moved to Wyoming in 1979 and received her GED and psychology degree from Central Wyoming College. She worked for CWC as a financial aid technician.
She married Chase Hood on July 23, 1993, in Thermopolis.
Her family said she enjoyed doing crafts, being outdoors and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Chase, of Shoshoni; daughters Harriette Rebecca Martinez of Riverton and Kristin Michelle Wallage of Shoshoni; grandsons Devin and Joey; granddaughters Gracelyn and soon to be born Shelby; mother Hariette Mae Gannon; brothers Doug and Richard Hobbie; and sisters Dawn Thompson and Kim Dewitt.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Frank Hobbie.
Memorials may be made to the Central Wyoming College Foundation in Mrs. Hood's name.
