Mar 29, 2013 - Staff

The 2013 Wolsborn-Drazovitch State Math contest took place at Central Wyoming College.

More than 160 county students gathered at Central Wyoming College recently to participate in the 2013 Wolsborn-Drazovitch State Math contest sponsored by the Wyoming Council of Teachers of Mathematics.

The competition began Feb. 12 in Rock Springs and moved to Riverton on Feb. 20, with more events planned for Feb. 26 and Feb. 27 throughout Wyoming.

In Fremont County, 24 students from Riverton High School competed along with 11 from Riverton Middle School. Lander students included 83 from Lander Valley High School and 46 from Lander Middle School.

"The students had a fun time getting competitive, touring the CWC science labs, and enjoying the company of other students who also like math," event organizer and CWC math instructor Mike Bostick said. "Next year we hope even more schools will be able to attend."
