Sara "Sandy" Mundy of River-ton died peacefully in her sleep Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at her home. She was 67 years old.

Services are at 10 a.m. Wedne-sday, Feb. 20, at St. Margaret's Catholic Church.

The Rev. Father Demetrio Penascazo will officiate.

Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

A rosary is recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Davis Funeral Home.

An additional memorial mass is at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 15, at St. Margaret of Scotland Church in St. Louis.

Sara A. Mundy was born July 1, 1945, in Hyannis, Neb., the daughter of William L. and Thel-ma (Farnsworth) Howell.

She attended schools in Hyan-nis, and graduated from Saint Louis University with a bachelor's degree in nursing.

She worked in St. Louis as a nurse before moving to Riverton in 1997. She continued her nursing career in Riverton working at the Wyoming State Training School in Lander until she retired.

She also enjoyed working as a school aide for a short time at St. Margaret's School in Riverton.

She married James Robert Mundy on June 9, 1972, in St. Louis. Together they had two sons and two daughters.

Her family said she enjoyed taking care of her children and spending time with dear friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary "Mollie" Mundy of St. Louis and Rachel Mundy of Riverton; son James Justin Mundy of Kil-leen, Texas, and Robert Emanuel Mundy of Riverton; brother-in-law Lloyd Rohde of Kimball, Neb.; grandchildren Jovaughn, Jordan and Christopher; nieces and nephews Monica and Gary Fulton, Brother Agustine, Mariane and Mike Culek, Meg Rohde, Mitch and Sharon Rohde, Christopher and Cindy Rohde, Lawrence and Wendy Rohde, Beth and Kevin Goff and Kevin and Connie Rohde; companion Jerry Gardner; and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters Kathryn Rohde and Margaret Young; nephew Matthew; and an infant brother.

Memorials may be made to Amedysis Hospice in care of Davis Funeral Home.
