CWC extends contracts of high-ranking employees

Jan 27, 2013 - From staff reports

The Central Wyoming College Board of Trustees voted Wednesday to extend the contracts of two high-level employees.

CWC President Jo Anne McFarland recommended that the board extend the contract for Jason Wood, CWC's executive vice president for student academic services, through June 30, 2015.

"I have every confidence that he will carry that out with grace and good leadership," McFarland said.

She also recommended that the board offer Ron Granger, CWC's vice president of administrative services, his first multi-year contract at the college. The board approved a two-year contract for Granger, also through June 30, 2015.

"I know Ron will keep us in the black," McFarland said. "And I also know that he will continue to be a real fine member of the administrative team."

Compensation for both men will be determined in April in conjunction with the development of CWC's budget for fiscal year 2014.
