Day at the LegislatureJan 24, 2013 - The Associated Press CHEYENNE -- Events on the 12th day of 2013 General Session of the Wyoming Legislature: Wed., Jan. 23: 'HILL BILL': The House gave preliminary approval to a bill that would strip many of the powers from the office of State Superintendent of Public Instruction, now occupied by Cindy Hill. The bill already has cleared the Senate and needs two more readings in the House. SEARCH AND RESCUE: A bill that would grant legal immunity to search and rescue volunteers passed the House on its third reading. |
