Here's a big thank-you to Dennis Christensen for the wonderful community service you have provided us throughout the years.

As a longtime trustee for the Central Wyoming College Board of Trustees, many years as chair and national chair, and then as a Fremont County Commissioner, your work has always been characterized by integrity and good will.

You have a well-deserved reputation for ably working with financial details, and you have a thorough grasp of the complexity of community organizations.

What always impresses me most, however, is the respect and attention you give to each individual and differing points of view.

I hope you continue to serve us publicly in new capacities: No one owns you, and you obviously have the community's best interest in your heart.
