Helping hand made worrisome situation much easier to handle

Jan 14, 2013 - Cody Bronc basketball team

In today's world, where bad news seems to prevail, we would like to share a story that reminds us why we choose to live in this great state of Wyoming.

After recently competing in a basketball tournament in Lander, we boarded our bus to head back to Cody. After traveling about five miles, our bus blew a radiator hose.

What transpired next says a lot about our state and its gracious people. It seemed that nearly everypassingcar stopped to offer assistance, and, ironically, itdidn't take very long to establishthat we knew someone in common.

Even thoughit was late on Saturday night, the Lander schools transportation department sprang into action and senta bus out to get us off the highway in no time at all. They also helped toquickly repair our bus and get us back on the road.

Thanks again, forallthe help and for the opportunity to live insucha great place.
