Jan 14, 2013 - StaffKay Christensen, of Riverton, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at the Help for Health Hospice Home.
She was 68 years old.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at Davis Funeral Home with Jim Conrad officiating.
A reception will follow in the Entertainment Room of Wind River Casino.
Kathleen Kay Reitz was born Nov. 2, 1944, in Alliance, Neb., the daughter of John Allen Reitz and Katherine (Dahlinger) Reitz. She grew up in Alliance, Neb., and graduated from Alliance High School.
She married Larry Christensen on Feb. 10, 1962, in Alliance, Neb. They moved to Lander in 1972, and in 1995 they relocated to Riverton.
Mrs. Christensen was employed by Dr. Ralph Hopkins as an office manager for 37 years, beginning in 1975.
She was a member of the Riverton Country Club, and her family said she enjoyed gardening, reading, music and dancing, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and visiting family.
She is survived by her husband, Larry of Riverton; sons Scott Christensen and his wife Myra of Victor, Idaho, and Jamie Christensen and his wife Jeri of Green River; grandchildren Tony, Ashley, Meleah, Elise, Blaec and Blaine; great-grandchild Ashton Parker; and brother Johnny Reitz of Fort Collins, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Katherine Reitz.
