Jan 11, 2013 - From staff reportsMembers of Central Wyoming College's forensics team were successful at two tournaments Jan. 4 to Jan. 6 in Salt Lake City.
In his first-ever intercollegiate competition, Mason Webb was named the 10th best speaker in the junior division of parliamentary debate at the first tournament, coach Josh House said. Schools from California, Texas, Wisconsin, Illinois, Oregon and others competed.
At the second tournament, the team of Garret VonKrosigk and Danielle Gray won second place in the junior division of Parliamentary debate after narrowly losing to the University of Nevada at Reno in the final round.
