Dec 28, 2012 - StaffElliott SunRhodes died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at Morning Star Manor in Fort Washakie. He was 57 years old.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, at St. Michael Mission with Sally Bubb officiating. An evening service and wake will be at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, at St. Michael Mission. Interment will be in the Yellow Calf Cemetery.
He was born Aug. 22, 1955, in Lander, the son of the late George and Olive Crispin SunRhodes.
He was a lifelong resident of the Wind River Indian Reservation. He attended schools in Lander.
His family said he enjoyed working, traveling and doing puzzles.
He is survived by his son, Elliott SunRhodes Jr.; brother George SunRhodes; grandchild Kateyly SunRhodes; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Janice SunRhodes; grandparents; and numerous aunts and uncles.
