Dec 13, 2012 - StaffScott Robeson Custom Woodworking of Lander recently won third place at the Cabinet Makers Association's annual contest in the category of Kitchen, Face Frame, Under $25,000.
"This annual contest is judged by a double blind panel of industry peers to promote and acknowledge our member's top notch projects," said Dave Grulke, the CMA's executive director. "It's both inspiring and humbling to see the level of talent and execution of the talented group of custom woodworker members at Scott Robeson Custom Woodworking. What was exhibited in their award-winning entry was simply the best of the best."
The award-winning kitchen belongs to Ruth Zebroski of Lander. It was built in all dark hickory, with a custom stone and tile warming oven. There are many beautiful one-of-a-kind accents, which Robeson built specifically for Zebroski.
"When we heard we had won an award from the Cabinet Makers Association, we were really excited," Robeson said. "It is a great feeling to have your work chosen by your peers to receive such an honor. We also thank Ruth for the opportunity to create her beautiful kitchen, and for allowing us to enter it in the contest. We know she is as happy about it as we are."
Robeson also won second place during the 2012 Home Improvement Show in Billings, Mont.
