Five Riverton Wolverines, all seniors, have been named to the Class 3-A all-state football and all-conference football teams, and six more RHS players were named Class 3-A East all-conference squad.
Recognized as all-state players are quarterback and defensive back Xavier Webb, running back and linebacker T.J.
Galey, wide receiver Kade Salisbury, and linemen Dawson Steeds and Lane Savage.
All of the all-state Wolverines also are part of the all-conference squad.
Also named to the all-conference team was tight end and defensive end Jordan Belville, running back, defensive back and special teams returner Logan Hartbank, defensive end Jeremy Vincent, running back and linebacker Dylan Lewis, lineman Wyatt Meyer and wide receiver and defensive back Brandon Fullerton.
Named as honorable mention 3-A East all-conference were Ian McMenamy, JP Baxter, Tristan White and Riley Richert.
The Wolverines almost ran the table in Class 3-A East player of the year awards.
Webb was named the conference offensive player of the year. Savage was picked as the offensive lineman of the year,
Steeds was named the defensive lineman of the year, and Hartbank was tabbed as the special teams player of the year.
The Class 3-A East defensive player of the year is Logan Barker from Douglas.
Wolverine head coach Jeremy McCormick, who led the Wolverines to a perfect 5-0 3-A East conference record (Riverton was 6-3 overall) was named the conference coach of the year.
