Nov 16, 2012 - From staff reportsRiverton High School students will participate in service projects throughout the city on Wednesday, Nov. 21, as part of their annual Wolverines in Action event.
"RHS appreciates all the support our community gives us," RHS leadership sponsor Elly Talbott said Tuesday. "This is our way to kind of pay it back."
She said students will travel with their home room groups to undertake the community service projects, helping residents with tasks ranging from trash pickup to yard raking.
"(Some students are) going to businesses and doing odd jobs, or going to elementary schools to help with various projects they have," Talbott said.
She would like her list of tasks to be finalized by Friday, Nov. 16, though Talbott said she may be able to accommodate last-minute requests.
Anyone with work for high schoolers can call Talbott at 856-9491.
