Nov 9, 2012 - StaffFlorence R. (Calvert) Holden died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at her home. She was 74 years old.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Hudson's Funeral Home, and a reception will follow at the VFW Hall.
Florence Ruth (Calvert) Holden was born July 26, 1938, the daughter of Howard and Freddie Moon.
She was married to James Holden.
Mrs. Holden was a waitress and did many other jobs, such as work at the Wyoming State Training School where she retired after 36 years.
Her family said she enjoyed camping, fishing and cooking big dinners for her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Mike Calvert, Dave Calvert and his wife Nicole, Theresa Krueger, Todd Calvert and Kenny Calvert; stepchildren Sharron Nelson and Frieda Armijo; siblings Hazel Steffy, Leroy Moon and his wife Reda, Wanda Divan and her husband Kurt, Dora Watson and her husband Jody, John Moon and his wife Emily and Joann Gramnll; 22 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband James Holden; brother Leo Moon; sister Amy Piper; grandson Chris Calvert; and many other family members.
