Government should not promote Satan

Nov 9, 2012 Keith A. Blankenship, Kinnear

In newspapers in Wyoming I read that the atheists and others plan to ask all state legislators in the United States of America to separate religion and government. The first time I heard such a concern was when they complained of God's Ten Commandments displayed in parks and public buildings.

When they got their way it was accepted that anything that had government funding, such as roads or schools, were not to speak of Jesus Christ, whose name is above all names.

When I attended my grandchildren's public school Christmas programs, they would not to speak of Jesus Christ's birthday.

If atheist groups get our state government to promote Satan I fear we will lose many more of our freedoms, including worshiping God openly in public.
