Sep 16, 2012 - From staff reportsThe Shoshone National Forest will hold four public meetings as part of its forest plan revision process.
Fremont County meetings will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sept. 25 at the Dubois Headwaters Art and Convention Center, 17 Stalnake St., on Sept. 26 in Lander at the Pronghorn Lodge Monarch Hall, 150 E. Main St.
The draft forest plan and draft environmental impact statement were released on July 30 and an official 90-day comment period began on Aug. 4.
The public meetings will include a question-and-answer period beginning at 6 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
The draft documents are available on the Shoshone National Forest website and may be viewed at local libraries or ranger district offices. To request these documents in hard copy or on a compact disc, contact (307) 527-6241 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
