Sep 9, 2012 - StaffCarol M. Scott, formerly of Lander, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at her residence in McAllen, Texas. She was 71 years old.
Private memorial services will be at a later date in McAllen, Texas, and Colorado Springs, Colo. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan, Texas.
Carol Mae Scott was born in Hawthorne, Calif. She had lived in McAllen, Texas, since 1994 and was formerly of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Lander.
She is survived by three children, Kenneth and his wife Leslie Scott, Kerry and her husband Mike Mand, both of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Kelly and her husband Roger Barnett Shorten of McAllen, Texas; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brother Richard and his wife Florence Wolfrum of Colorado Springs, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Dryden Scott Jr. and a sister, Patsy Scott.
