Chelsea Friday

Chelsea Friday died Monday, Sept. 3, 2012. She was 22 years old.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10, at Blue Sky Hall with the Catholic clergy officiating. An evening service will be 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Rawlin Friday residence in Ethete. A rosary will be 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, at Blue Sky Hall with a wake to follow at the Blanche Ridgley residence. Interment will be in the Yellowcalf Cemetery.

Chelsea Friday was born Nov. 22, 1989, in Lander, the daughter of Rawlin Friday Sr. and Blanche Ridgley.

She attended Weber State University in Utah and looked forward to being a physical therapist. She attended schools at Lander South Side, Wyoming Indian, Central Wyoming College and University of Wyoming.

Her family said she enjoyed going to school, was a cross country runner, enjoyed hanging out with her brothers and being around her family and friends.

She is survived by her parents; sister Denise Garcia; brothers Rawlin J. Friday Jr., Michael Sherman Friday and Sean Christopher Friday; grandparents Hugh Ridgley and Alvena Friday, Mary and Jack Herrera, Lorine and Lawrence Medina, Bobby Joe and Ruth Goggles, Buddy and Louise Oldman, Norine Vigil, Joe and Jackie Duran, Genevieve and Jake Whiteplume, Teresa and Juan Roman, John Duran, Alfred Duran and Tommy and Lucille Duran; aunts Belle Ferris, Valerie Ware, Pam Friday, Melissa Friday, April Duran, JoAnn Romero, Cheryl Littlebird, Norma Condin, Lura Whiteplume, Amelia Shakespeare, Lupe Pingree, Alicia Roman, Mary Roman, Cory Duran, Morrieta Duran, Annie Sage, Ethel Goggles, Cassie Duran, Catherine Trumbull, Betty Ridgely, Eugenie Havizdak and Carol Trumbull; uncles Ben, Augustine and Eugene Ridgley, Aaron Friday, Dean Hungary and Bill Goggles; cousins Kayla Ridgley, Anna Ridgely, Rani Ridgley, Janelle Denny and Rusty Ridgely; numerous nieces and nephews; and families Willow, Wallowingbull, Hungry, Valdez, Goggles, Headley, Groesbeck, Loneman, Amos, Yellowman, Hogan, Goodluck, Hipp, Patas, Bergie, Friday, Thunder, Trosper, Sage, Franklin, Grey Morning, Hoffman, St. Clair, Oberly, Patchen, Prairie Chief, Sittingbull, Simpson, O'Neal, Shoyo and others.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marcella Duran, Joe and Mary Duran, Scott and Blanch Ridgley, Ben Friday Jr., Ben Friday Sr. and Maggie Friday; uncles Michael, Royce and Scott Ridgley and Colin Friday.
