Job Corps promises starting to sound like a 'bill of goods'

Feb 22, 2012 Ronald Strauss Riverton

I see where U.S. Sen. Mike Enzi is giving more "assurances" about the Job Corps center. This is all starting to sound pretty lame.

As I recall, the whole Job Corps was supposed to the finished with construction and open for business in 2011. I checked the calendar and it is now 2012, and the Job Corps hasn't even been started yet. (I don't count the sign and the dirt they pushed around for the cameras a year ago or whenever that was.)

Are we being sold a bill of goods on this thing? It sure is starting to sound that way. I am beginning to think this is never really going to happen, and all that celebrating and congratulating we did is going to look pretty dumb.
