Ingalls to serve as Angus delegate

Aug 31, 2012 - From staff reports

Dan E. Ingalls, of Riverton, has been elected as a delegate to the 129th Annual American Angus Association Convention of Delegates on Nov. 12 in Louisville, Ky., said Bryce Schumann, CEO of the American Angus Association.

Ingalls, a member of the American Angus Association with headquarters in Saint Joseph, Mo., is one of 330 Angus breeders who have been elected by fellow members in their state to serve as a representative at the annual meeting.

Representing 46 states, District of Columbia and Canada, the delegates will participate in the business meeting and elect new officers and five directors to the American Angus Association board.

The annual event is in conjunction with the annual banquet and the Super Point Roll of Victory Angus show Nov. 10 to Nov. 13 during the North American International Livestock Exposition.

The American Angus Association has nearly 30,000 active members and is the largest beef breed organization in the world.
