Aug 26, 2012 - By Randy Tucker, Staff WriterExpectations were high entering this season, and after a week zero scrimmage with Eden-Farson, it appears they were well warranted. The Rams easily ran through, around and over the Pronghorns in a controlled scrimmage Saturday at Bill Bush Stadium at Lander Valley High School.
While no official scores were kept, Dubois scored nine times in the contest on just 12 possessions. The three series they didn't find the end zone came with the Ram junior varsity on the field.
Defensively, Dubois didn't allow a single first down, and Farson's only score came on an interception return.
The Rams are a favorite in Class 1-A Six Man this season with speed, size and a year of experience in the six-man variety of football.
Jesse Hawk and Sterling Baker return in the backfield, which took second to Little Snake River a season ago at War Memorial Stadium in the state title game.
Head coach Dave Trembly has 14 players out this season with speed in abundance.
Monte Baker assists Trembly again this season.
The Rams are on the road for much of their opening schedule with the first official contest coming against Midwest at 6 p.m. Friday in Natrona County.
