Helen Black died Friday, Aug. 10, 2012. She was 3 years old.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Aug. 14, at Our Father's House in Ethete with the Rev. Sally Bubb officiating. Interment will be In the Yellow Calf Cemetery.
Helen Black was born June 22, 2009, in Riverton, the daughter of Mary Belle Brown and Charles Black.
Her family said she brought laughter to everyone and loved to dance and tell stories.
She is survived by her parents; sisters LaVerta Brown and Violyn Bald Eagle; brothers Sasabriel Bald Eagle and Buster Crispin; grandparents Annette and Kathy Crispin, Jon Lee Crispin, Howard Friday, Rose and Travis Brockie, Lemuel Black, Priscilla Ybarra, Daniel and Carma Brown, Melody Brown, Ramona Oldman, Zola and Orlena Killsontop, Joleen and Roland Iron, Gloria and Tom Durgin; godparents Maria Buck, Ruby Goggles and Myron Chavez; great-grandparents Lonella White, Annette Bell, Helen Baker, John and Iva Headley, Theresa Marie Wells, Haroldine Whitewolf and Leona Buckman; and other families Mills, Wagon, Hardins, Phillips, Wadda, Isis, WallowingBull, Revera, Armajo and Black; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her great-great-grandparents Thomas "Buster" Crispin, Helen Crispin Cedar Tree, Margaret McAdams Isis and Lester Isis; great-grandparents Arvilla and Charles Crispin, Suzette and Roger Wagon, Laura and John Tyler, Gloria and Homer Phillips, Ursula and Wilbur Brown Sr. and Theresa Whitewolf; grandparents Charles, Fred and Edward Crispin, Kathy and Gary Killsontop, Jason, Pierre and Verle Killsontop, Wanda and Miles Kaulaity, Charles Brown and Wilbur T. Brown Jr.
