Aug 11, 2017 - From staff reportsThe annual Yellowstone Quilt Fest invites entries for exhibit and judging. The entry deadline is Tuesday, Aug. 29.
"The flavor of this year's YQF will be revisiting a little of the past, watching colors, patterns and techniques change as we move up to current times," reads the festival's entry invitation. "It is time to display and share the quilted gems packed away in chests or closets."
Quilts that have been shown at YQF more than five years ago are invited back. Any quilts from the past will share the floor with the newly-made quilts of today.

A sneak-preview and reception is from 5-7:20 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, at the Cody Auditorium. Tickets at the door are $5.
Vendors will be open, light hors d'oeurvres will be served, and door-prize drawings are planned as well.
Regular festival exhibit hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, and 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9.
Tickets at the door are $3. Children 10 years and younger get in free.
