Gregory Bruce Trosper Sr., 38, of Ethete, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, in his home surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, at the Wyoming Indian Elementary School under the direction of the Hudson's Funeral Home of Lander. Interment will follow at the St. Michaels Mission Cemetery. An evening service will begin at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, also at the Wyoming Indian Elementary School with a wake to follow at the home of Merton Trosper, 124 Trosper Lane, Ethete.

Gregory Bruce Trosper Sr. was born Aug. 30, 1973, in Lander, the son of J. Merton Trosper and Vera Chavez Trosper.

He attended schools at Wyoming Indian elementary and middle schools and graduated from Wyoming Indian High School in 1992.

His family said he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children.

He is survived by his father, J. Merton Trosper; his children, Austin Lonebear, Alyssa, Amber and Gregory Trosper; sisters Shelly St. Clair and husband Owen, Rosie Trosper and Ernest Brown, Elizabeth Trosper and Marlys Andrews and husband Jack; brothers James Trosper and wife Theresa and Ty Trosper and wife Leslie.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Vera Trosper; grandparents James and Bridgette Trosper, Isaac and Willena Chavez and Winifred BigRoad; aunt Pauline Kniffin; uncles Alfred and Duane Chavez, Duane Oldman and Michael Hatt Sr.
