Jul 7, 2017 - From staff reportsGrace Elizabeth Walker died Monday, June 26, 2017, at Morning Star Manor in Fort Washakie. She was 80 years old.
Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2017, at Mountain View Cemetery, with the Rev. Robin Stupka officiating.
She was born Aug. 12, 1936, in Riverton, daughter of Edward and Bessie (Ward) Allard.
"Grace was a very crafty lady who enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing and participating in craft shows," loved ones recalled.
She also loved fishing, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. Her family said that she loved the Lord.
For the past three years, she has lived at Morning Star Care Center in Fort Washakie.
"Grace was well loved and cared for by the staff and other residents," loved ones said.
Survivors include her daughters Appel Edwards of Washington, Debbie and her husband, Don Payne, of Riverton, and Barbara and her husband, Jerry Chopping, of Riverton; grandchildren, Sarah Faulkner, Josh Payne, Priscilla Beacham, Adam Chopping and Jenny Kimsey; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Randall Walker; and granddaughter, Jamie Chopping.
