Eclipse does not need clear skies to be noticed

Jul 6, 2017 Billie Fohlsom, Riverton

The famous eclipse of the sun is coming up in just a little more than a month, and I have talked to people who worry that it will be cloudy here, even though it usually is sunny this time of year. The eclipse will be at the peak late in the morning.

But what I tell everybody is that even if it is cloudy, the eclipse will still happen. It will get dark as night, even in cloudy weather. This is something to look forward to and enjoy, no matter what.
