1838 Mountain Man Rendezvous

The annual 1838 Mountain Man Rendezvous is up and running southeast of Riverton near the junction of the Wind and Little Wind rivers. The event celebrates the history of 19th-century trade and celebratory gatherings when trappers and American Indians met eastern traders annually. Above, a boy who uses the name Little Wolf during the Rendezvous practiced throwing a tomahawk.
