Richard Hall Christensen of Hudson passed away June 16, 2017, at his home in Hudson. He was 84 years old.

Cremation has taken place, and there will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 1, at the Hudson Cemetery in Hudson.

He was born Sept. 28, 1932, to Clifford G. Christensen and Grace Hall Christensen in Burns. He graduated from Pine Bluffs High School. He served in the U.S. Army (Korean War). He married Helen Frappart on July 4, 1958, in Dubois. He was a fly fisherman, hunter and outdoorsman. He retired from US Steel after 22 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Shirley Polk.

Survivors include his wife, Helen; son, Brian; daughter, Laurel; brother, Gordon; and two grandsons, Brennan and Cortlin.
