Jun 9, 2017 - From staff reportsMolly Thornton of Riverton and Bret Klopp of Lander both graduated from Chadron State College last month, when the Nebraska institution conferred 254 bachelor's degrees.
Thornton graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in theater while Klopp received a Bachelor of Science in education, Mathematics 6-12.
Dr. Megan Schuckman, a CSC alumna and a family medicine physician at the Chadron Medical Clinic, spoke at the event.
Chadron State College, which was founded in 1911, is the only four-year, regionally-accredited college in the western half of Nebraska.
Nearly 3,000 undergraduate, graduate and online students currently attend Chadron State and its curriculum has grown to offer programs and courses in more than 50 majors and endorsements and eight master's degree programs.
