Jun 7, 2017 - From staff reportsShauna Marie Lee-Carr of Lander passed away Thursday morning, May 25, 2017, at Wind River Rehabilitation and Wellness in Riverton. She was 56.
She was born Feb. 6, 1961, to Frances Lee and the late Lew Lee at Lander Hospital.
She grew up in Fremont County most of her life. She enjoyed caring for others, and growing up she loved fishing, riding horses, going to the mountains, art and coloring.
As a teenager she was rodeo queen in Fremont County.She worked for Pony Express delivering mail throughout Wyoming in her 20s, as well as working the railroad for a few years before an injury.She enjoyed being with friends and family as well as her daytime TV shows.
She is survived by her mother, Frances; sister Mary Beth; brother Shane; daughter, Lyndsie; grandchildren Mitchell and Haylo; nieces Tonya, Tiffany, Tasha, Trista and Lacey; nephews Christopher, Troy and Cody; and great-nieces and great-nephews Gavin, Bridgette, Haylee, Cameron, Crosby, Cole, Calie, Winter, Melody, Chese, Emery, Owen and Tyler.
She was preceded in death by father, Lew; grandparents, Mary and Bud; and brothers Buddy andTerry.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 4, 2017, at the Hudson Town Hall, welcoming all family and friends.
