Marshall Everett Friday III died Wednesday, May 31, 2017, in Tualatin, Oregon.

He was 18 years old.

Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday June 6, at Blue Sky Hall in Ethete, with the Revs. Rawlin Friday and Roxanne Friday officiating.

An evening service is at 7 p.m. Monday, June 5, also at Blue Sky Hall with a wake to follow between 228 and 230 Willow Street, Ethete.Interment follows at Friday Cemetery.

Marshall Everett Friday III was born Nov. 28, 1998, the son of Beatrice Willis and Marshall Friday Jr.

He graduated from Chemawa Indian High School on May 12 after finishing school early in mid-March. He had planned to go to Central Wyoming College.

He was recently accepted for a second season with the Northwest Youth Corp working for the U.S. Conservation District in Eugene, Oregon.

"He loved hanging with friends and family, skate boarding, dancing, paintball, listening to music, OITNB, outdoors, camping, fishing and enjoyed taking care of his nieces, nephews and other children in the family," his loved ones said.

While attending high school he participated in many clubs including pep, skateboarding, powwow, 2 Spirits, student council, the munchie cart, and as the leader setting up No DAPL protests at his school. He recently completed life guard training.

He is survived by parents/stepparents: mother Beatrice Willis, stepfather Loforce Hamilton, father Marshall Friday Jr., stepmother Angela Yellowbear; his "other moms" Kissie Quiver and Chemawa dorm mom Saunia; grandparents Jeanette "Nelda" Chavez (Groesbeck), Thorton Chavez, Gladys Chingman, Cara Moon, Arleigh Armajo, Eva Magnan and George Lenord; brothers Chester and Robert Friday, Jerry McGill Deondra Moon and Swifthorse Day; sisters Marisha, Marlyee and Karlen Friday, Jasmine, Jessica and Rosalie McGill; aunts Lisa Chavez, Angela Torrez (Chavez),Michelle McGill, Mandy Moon, Vicky and Denise Medicinehorse, Christine LaJeunesse, Melanie Friday, Victoria, Tamara, and Marsha Friday; uncles Jonas Moon, Albert, Mike and TJ Chavez, Rabbit and Neal Friday, Cordelle Rod Moon, Myron Groesbeck; special friend Thomas (Boyladd) Bell; nieces and nephews Jude Friday, Eliana and Laila Culps, Quincy Miller, Maddie, Jayshawn Howell, Hayden and Gabriel Friday, Malcolm, Mason, Levi, Maximus and Josh Spoonhunter; cousins JoJo Atley, Selena and Estella Tores, Lydia, Chris, Sherman and Henry Quiver, Joshua Friday, Lacrea, Benito and Ashant Loneman; and the Armajo, Groesbeck, Friday, Magnan, Hill, Spoonhunter, WallowingBull, Brown, Amos, Todd, Quiver and C'Bearing families.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Oshea Friday; grandparents Wilma Groesbeck Bearing, Homer Willis, Marshall Everett Friday Sr., Hiram and Mary Belle Armajo, and Richard and Jean Friday; uncles,, Brandon WallowingBull and Anthony Medicine Cloud.
