Shoshoni senior gets scholarship

Jun 2, 2017 - From staff reports

Patrick Cornell, a graduating senior at Shoshoni High School, has been selected to receive a $16,000 college scholarship from the ConocoPhillips Dependent Scholarship Program.

He is the son of Bobby Cornell, a instrument and electrical specialist at the oil and gas company. Patrick plans to attend the University of Wyoming in the fall.

The ConocoPhillips Dependent Scholarship Program is designed to recognize exceptional graduating children of ConocoPhillips employees for their classroom and community achievements.

This year ConocoPhillips awarded 27 scholarships. Scholarship Management Services, an independent third-party administrator of educational benefit programs, evaluated candidates based on academic excellence, community service and financial need.
