Aug 5, 2012 - StaffVera Louise Goff, 74, died Aug. 2, 2012, at Riverton Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, at the Davis Funeral Home with interment of cremated remains to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
She was born Dec. 25, 1937, in Cheyenne, the daughter of Earl D. and Violetta Alida (Anderson) Dodrill.
At an early age, her family moved to Pavillion where she later graduated high school. She then moved to Riverton and worked as a nurse's aid.
On Feb. 4, 1959, she married Robert L. Goff in Riverton.
She was a member of the Eagles Club.
Her family said Mrs. Goff enjoyed crafts and baking, attending yard sales and spending time with family.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas Goff and his wife Shawna of Riverton and Robert and his wife Christina of Chandler, Ariz.; grandchildren Tyler and his wife Sage, Travis and his wife Sara and Shayna, all of Riverton; five great-grandchildren; brother Dave Dodrill and his wife Mimi of Riverton; sister Earlene Pickerel of Rock Springs; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Robert on May 2, 2007.
