Twin daughters were born to Samantha Oldman of Arapahoe at 3:15 and 3:18 p.m. April 10 at SageWest Health Care at Lander. The first born weighed 5 pounds, 7 ounces and the second born weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces.

Peggy Jo Jevne, 61, of Riverton, died at her home on Thursday, April 13. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
Cynthia Ann Hall Cason, 57, died Friday, April 14 in Kalispell, Montana.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 22 at The Church Of The Morning Star at Ethete. Interment will be in the Friday Cemetery.Services are under the direction of Wind Dancer Funeral Home.
Allen Collins, 86, died on April 13. Services were at Wiedersphan Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes in Cheyenne.

Riverton Business After Hours is from 5-7 p.m. at First Interstate Bank, located at 323 East Main Street in Riverton. The event is hosted by the Riverton Chamber of Commerce. Upcoming Business After Hours events will be May 18 at Hampton Inn and Suites, and June 15 at the Wind River Mercantile. Everyone is welcome.
Lander Library's Fifth Annual Earth Day Film Festival, continues throughout April. The library will show a different film at 7 p.m. every Thursday in April in the Carnegie Room in the Lander Library, located at 451 N 2nd Street. The April 20 film is "Losing the West," a documentary that explores issues of land use, gentrification, water scarcity and other changes in the west. All showings are free, and there will be refreshments and giveaways each week. For more information, call 332-5194.
The Dubois Museum's "Peoples of the Wind Rivers," by Tom Lucas is at 7 p.m. at the Dubois Museum, located at 909 West Ramshorn in Dubois. The program is part of the Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speakers Series and will focus on the Native American people in the Wind River region. It is free to the public.
Central Wyoming College Theater Student Showcase plays are at 7 p.m. every night from April 20-23 at the Central Wyoming College Robert A. Peck Art Center Dance Studio, Room 138. A series of short, student-directed plays will be performed each night, with comic sketches, and musical performances, and dance pieces. The first set of plays will be performed Thursday and Saturday, and the second set will be performed Friday and Sunday. The performances are rated PG 13. Seating is Limited.

The History of Sheep and Wool from the time of Christ to the Present, presented by John Farr, begins at 7 p.m. at the Pioneer Museum, located at 1443 West Main Street in Lander. This presentation is part of the Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speakers Series and is free and open to the public. This program is a precursor to the museum's annual sheep shearing day at 3 p.m. on August 22.
