Jesse Murphy of Kinnear died Saturday evening, April 15, 2017, at the Morning Star Manor in Fort Washakie. He was 60.

A viewing will be 9-10 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Davis Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

Jesse Lynn Murphy was born Jan. 25, 1957, in Riverton, to Charles Henry and Isabelle Ellen (Erickson) Murphy. He grew up in the Kinnear area graduating high school in 1975.

He was baptized in the Catholic faith.

He worked as a farm laborer the majority of his life in the Kinnear area.

His family said he enjoyed going to the casino, shooting pool and fishing.

He is survived by four brothers Raymond Murphy of Ells Worth, Maine, David Murphy of Kinnear, Gary Murphy of Kinnear, and Louis Murphy and Janice Cichonski of Sheridan, and many nephews, nieces, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Isabelle Murphy; five sisters Thelma Mollman, Virginia Madman, Judith DuBry, Marjorie Fancher, and Carol Sue Ostertag; and two brothers Richard Murphy and Chester Murphy.
