Frank C. Smith died Monday, March 13, 2017, at SageWest Health Care at Riverton. He was 59 years old.

No services are scheduled. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Frank Smith Memorial Fund in care of Davis Funeral Home.

Mr. Smith was born Sept. 13, 1957, in Casper, son of Otis and Artis E. (Pierce) Smith.

On July 4, 1985, he married Caroline Ann Hamm in Shartlesville, Pennsylvania. The couple then moved back to Riverton in 2001.

He thoroughly enjoyed fishing and spending time in the mountains. When he was younger, he loved to hunt. He also cherished his time spent with his family, especially his grandkids. He was known to be a hard worker. He worked for McDonalds before becoming employed at the casino, where he had worked for the past nine years.

"He was a great friend, father, brother and uncle and will be missed by many," his loved ones said.

Survivors include his mother, Artis Smith of Riverton; daughters Brandi and her husband, Josh Ciesielski, Kami Spencer, and Jennifer Smith; grandchildren Logan Ciesielski, Daniel Ciesielski, Cheyenne Smith, Dominick Payne, Carlyle Minner and Bradley Spencer; brothers Everett Smith and Otis Smith of Riverton; sister, Paula Barea of Colorado; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Caroline; father, Otis; son, LeRoy R. Hoster III; and brother, John Smith.
