City crews should plow snow to center of street, not side

Mar 2, 2017 - Carole S. Anderson, Riverton

When the City plowed the snow to the center of the street, no matter how much snow fell, we immediately had four functioning lanes to use - two traffic lanes and two parking lanes.

Now that the City is plowing snow to the curb we immediately have only two functioning lanes - two lanes for traffic because the parking lanes are filled with plowed snow.

Going from four functioning lanes to two functioning lanes is NOT progress. This is another reason for accurately describing the method of snow removal by plowing it to the curb as City-imposed-degredation.
