Downtown restroom seems like good idea when crowds are big

Jul 26, 2012 - Lynne Watkiss, Riverton

I never really had an opinion in one way or the other about the Riverton mayor's idea of having a public restroom-type facility in downtown Riverton, but now I think it is a good idea.

What changed my mind was the Friday Night Cruise for Riverton Rendezvous. The portables were OK, but nobody likes using them, and they would look bad if they were there all the time.

Putting up something nice on the vacant lot at the corner of Fifth Street sounds good to me, but I know there would be constant fighting about paying for it. I wish it could happen, though.
