Nov 11, 2016 - From staff reportsWyoming Catholic College has launched a new advisory board comprised of sixteen Catholic scholars from around the country.
The board is charged with providing both advice and networking opportunities, but its members will also serve as ambassadors to other academic institutions, prospective students, benefactors, and friends.
"Our new Catholic Scholars Advisory Board brings some of the best Catholic minds around the world into conversation with our College and its friends," WCC president Glenn Arbery said in a press release. "Having their advice on the issues that confront us will be invaluable."
Winston Elliott, a newly-elected member of the College's Board of Directors and a driving force behind this advisory board, said "although we are a young college, we are not an isolated institution, but one fully integrated into the community of Catholic higher learning and scholarship."
The board consists of Bradley Birzer, Clinton Brand, Barbara Elliott, Bruce Frohnen, Khalil Habib, Peter Kalkavage, Benjamin Lockerd, Christopher Morrissey, Joseph Pearce, Tracey Rowland, David Schindler, Andrew Seeley, Gleaves Whitney, Jeremy Wilkins, John Willson and Jose Maria Yulo.
