Scope manufacturer expands with new facility in Riverton

Sep 1, 2016 - From staff and wire reports

LUCID Optics is expanding into anew facilitylocated at1697 N. Eighth St. W. in Riverton.

As LUCID Optics continues to grow, moving into a bigger space became critical to sustain development plans, according to a recent press release. The new location is expected to better serve the growing demands in operations as well as customer service needs.

The warehouse and offices will now have separate designated spaces, along with an additional areafor product assembly and a machine shop.

LUCID representatives hope the new facility will be an asset to the market, with the added capabilities it will afford, as well as to the local community.

The new location also should help LUCID reach the goal of bringing some manufacturing and product assembly home to the United States, thusproviding the potential for future employment opportunities to local residents.

"The space in the new facility will allow for continued growth in coming years," said Jamie Wilson of LUCID."We thank our customers for theirsupport and invite you all to stay tuned and watch LUCID continue togrow."
