People took the hint on fireworksJul 10, 2012 - Peg Eckers, Riverton Editor: I know fireworks are popular and fun, but I must say I did enjoy a much more quiet and peaceful Fourth of July this year with fireworks more or less banned around town. I believe they are forbidden in the city limits anyway, but this is almost never enforced. This year, however, people seemed to take the hint on fire danger and kept themselves under control. Well done, I say. |
