Gomendi, Ortiz to wed abroad

The parents of Sara Gomendi and Geoffrey Ortiz are pleased to announce the couple's engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Nikki Ratliff of Jenks, Oklahoma, and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Gomendi of Riverton.

She graduatedfrom Riverton High Schoolin 2004 and the University of Wyoming in 2008.

She earned her doctorate degree from theSouthwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2012.

She is a naturopathic oncology providerat Cancer Treatment Center of America in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The groom-to-be is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Ortiz of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He graduated from Jenks High School in 2006 and the University of Oklahoma in 2010.

He earned his master's degree from Strayer University in 2014. He currently is a global operations consultant for Verizon's financial operations headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

A summer wedding is planned in theDominican Republic.
