Lander's library hosting bicycle safety rodeo for kids

Jun 24, 2012 From staff reports

Lander police officers will converge on the Fremont County Library in Lander on Wednesday, June 27, but don't worry. It's all in the name of safety.

The two organizations are hosting a summer safety and bicycle rodeo of kids starting at 10:30 a.m. in the library's parking lot.

They are inviting children and their parents to attend the free event that will teach participants about bicycle safety.

Organizers want to ensure that children out of school during the summer months be safe when they bicycle and play.

For more information about the event, call the library at 332-5196, e-mail Georgia Nations at or visit the library's website at
