Jun 22, 2012 - Linda Bebout, Secretary, Riverton Kiwanis Golden KEditor:
We, as a club and individually, wish to add our names to the growing list of people who have expressed their appreciation for our Riverton Senior Citizens and Community Center.
Since receiving our charter in 1998, we have been meeting twice monthly at the "senior center." In addition, we hold our annual Christmas party and our prayer breakfast there. At all times we have had good food, excellent service and have been treated with courtesy and friendliness.
Our senior center should be a source of pride to the entire community. Many have expressed visiting other centers in Wyoming and state unequivocally that Riverton's is the best, with a modem facility, an excellent staff, and a huge variety of programs to suit almost any individual who goes there.
Most of our club members are retired, and all are busy with community projects and activities or other organizations, and so we have little time left, therefore, to take advantage of the many great programs and activities provided by the senior center. But we are cognizant of the combined efforts of the staff, the board of directors who work behind the scenes, and the many volunteers who give willingly of their time, and to all of them we express our sincere thanks and appreciation.
With officers and directors Joe Pepper, Hal Macon, Terry Hafner and Darlene Dahlin
