Luella M. Logan

Luella M. Logan of Rock Springs died Monday, June 4, 2012, at her home. She was 81.

She was a lifelong resident of Rock Springs and the mother of Velara Curtis of Lander.

Cremation will take place, and memorial services will be announced later.

Luella M. Worley was born Jan. 27, 1931, in Rock Springs, the daughter of Pete and Dora (Ryder) Worley. She attended schools in Rock Springs and was a 1950 graduate of the Rock Springs High School.

She married Roy Logan on July 3, 1952, in Rock Springs. He preceded her in death Feb. 13, 2007.

Mrs. Logan was a member of Rock Springs Woman's Club.

Her family said her interests included watching television, reading, camping, playing cards and visiting with friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Velara Curtis and husband Allen of Lander; three grandchildren, Stephanie Curtis of Lander, William "Burke" Curtis and wife Lesli of Eden, and Christine Curtis and fiance Kolten Wall of Lander; two great-grandchildren, Ryan Curtis and Emma Curtis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Logan; and great-grandson Logan Curtis.a
