Meeting on road work Tuesday
A public meeting to discuss 2016-2017 highway improvements to North Federal Boulevard is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Riverton City Hall.
"If you drive on North Federal Boulevard, live near, or have a business in this area, it would be a great idea to attend this meeting and offer input on this project," said WyDOT resident engineer Robert Scheidemantel of Riverton. "This project will impact traffic movements while it is being reconstructed. The city and WyDOT want this to be the best possible project for Riverton, and we need citizen involvement to accomplish this. Please plan to attend."
The North Federal Boulevard highway improvement project will extend from Washington Avenue to north of Webbwood Road.
A formal presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by questions and an open house. Public comments will be accepted, and refreshments will be served.
